Nota Publicada en Diario Buenos Aires Herald. Miércoles 24 de marzo de 1982.
Singer Aída Calamera offers one example of a local artist who has had to wait for her big chance to come from abroad. Had circumstances not favoured her, she would probably have had to languish away as an understudy for the rest of her days.
She took the part of Genevieve in the latest Colón theatre productions of "Pelleas et Méllisande" and played Emilia, in Plácido Domingo´s "Othello", in both cases demontrating tremendous qualities as a singer and as an actress.
She has also given several memorable performances in chamber sessions.
